Production Coordinator

Part Time

Pomegranate Studios is looking for a part-time Production Coordinator!

Our production coordinator is the logistical glue of Pomegranate Studios.  A Pomegranate Studios production coordinator requires a combination of administrative/logistical skills, adaptive communication skills and strategic creative project management.

Details

Hours/Location

A maximum of 40 hrs/month.

Largely Remote. A maximum of 4 in-person days may be scheduled per month.

Payment

You will be paid a monthly retainer, for internal project coordination and micro budget projects.
You will also be paid an additional commission when assigned to larger budget external productions.

Retainer

$2000 / month retainer.

External Project Commission Rate

You will be primarily working on internal projects and external micro-projects (≤$5000). However, if we need production coordination for a larger scale external project it may necessitate up to 20 additional work hours/project, per month. 

If we’re getting paid extra for it, you are too. (+ individual crediting as Production Coordinator).

$1000 per small project (where total project budget = $5000-$8500)

$2500 per medium - large project (where total project budget = >$8500)

You will be required to be directly involved in:

  • Scheduling

    • Keeping track of active project production schedules, including shoot dates and production meetings.

    • Alerting the team in case of clashes or potential overload issues.

  • Project Management

    • Strategising and Managing creative resources at each stage of production with production team.

    • Liasing with external resources (locations, rentals, external crew).

    • Negotiating and summarising creative changes with clients on behalf of Pomegranate Studios.

  • Stakeholder communication

    • Communicate with, and distribute production documents to, Pomegranate Studios stakeholders, (Sponsors, Clients, Talent).

    • Communication regaring, securing of permits and legal permissions.
